Project Role: Cyber Security Intern

Project Role Description: In-House Cybersecurity Product Support, Dark Web & Surface Web Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Threat Analysis, and Security Documentation.

Must have skills: Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, and Linux environments. Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing fundamentals across web, mobile, and network systems. Basic knowledge of Python or Bash scripting. Understanding of threat intelligence, security vulnerabilities, and incident response concepts. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in ethical hacking, dark web monitoring, and cybersecurity research. Willingness to learn security tools, product security workflows, and real-world threat analysis.

Minimum: 3–6 Months

Educational Qualification: Students pursuing B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / BCA in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Candidates who have completed or are pursuing training/certification in Ethical Hacking, VAPT, Cybersecurity, or Information Security will be preferred.

Summary

This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity operations. Interns will work on in-house cybersecurity products, dark web and surface web monitoring, threat intelligence, and VAPT activities under the guidance of experienced cybersecurity professionals.

Interns will actively contribute to identifying security risks, analyzing potential threats, supporting cybersecurity products, and documenting findings for mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain in-house cybersecurity products.
  • Monitor the dark web and surface web for data leaks, exposed credentials, and potential threats.
  • Assist in VAPT activities across web applications, mobile applications, and network systems.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and security findings.
  • Document findings and support remediation and mitigation activities.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and product teams on security-related tasks.
