Project Role Description: In-House Product Support, Dark Web Monitoring, and Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)

Must have skills: Good understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, HTTP, TCP/UDP, VPNs, firewalls, etc.). Familiarity with Linux systems, operating system architecture, and information security fundamentals. Basic knowledge of Python or Bash scripting for automation and tool integration. Strong analytical thinking and an interest in ethical hacking and threat analysis. Ability to document findings accurately and communicate effectively with team members. Willingness to learn and adapt to new cybersecurity tools and environments.

Minimum: Internship Duration: 3–6 Months

Educational Qualification: Students pursuing B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity. Candidates who have completed or are pursuing training or certifications in Ethical Hacking, VAPT, or Network Security will be preferred.

Summary

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in key areas of cybersecurity, including in-house product support, dark web monitoring, and vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (VAPT).

Interns will actively contribute to internal projects, assist in product maintenance and enhancements, monitor security threats, and support vulnerability testing activities under the guidance of cybersecurity professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and maintenance for in-house cybersecurity products and platforms.

Conduct dark web and surface web monitoring to identify potential data leaks, credential exposures, or brand impersonation.

Assist in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for web, mobile, and network environments.

Support incident analysis, threat documentation, and reporting.

Work with internal teams to validate, reproduce, and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
